 Colleen Post

Colleen Post is the founding associate director and also an adjunct professor for the FIU Pino Global Entrepreneurship Center.  Since the Center’s founding in December 2003, she has been charged with providing administrative, creative, and operational oversight for all programs initiated by the Center, its’ four institutes and academy.  She has also been teaching business plan development at the undergraduate level since 2005.   

Previous experience includes Marketing & Events Coordinator for FIU’s College of Business, Animal Training Supervisor at Parrot Jungle & Gardens, Assistant Development Director at Best Buddies International, Sales Representative for Sandals & Beaches Resorts, Stage Manager for City Theatre, Lead Actress for Mosaic Theatre, Assistant Lighting Designer for Actor’s Playhouse, and Assistant Scenic Designer for New Theatre.  She also has been employed in the restaurant industry for over seven years in restaurants such as P.F.Chang’s China Bistro, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Jillian’s Billiard Club.           

A native of Miami, Florida and double alumnus of FIU, Post earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre and her Master in Business Administration degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing.  She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the Åbo Akademi University in Finland.  Her current research interest surrounds entrepreneurship education and its effectiveness.
